Hello

I don't know if this is the correct forum to ask in, but i keep running in to the phrase 'Semi-polymorphic' and this leaves a big question mark

I assume the people on this board very well knows what Polymorphic and Metamorphic is, but can anyone explain to me what Semi-polymorphic is/does

According to the definitions of polymorphic code, it makes me beleive that Semi-polymorphic behaviour is not possible to achieve, true/false?

Somone could argue that or is polymorphic or is not polymorphic, but both things at the same time is not possible, but the truth is the av industry accepted the "semi-polymorphic" label.

When a virus/worm/whatever is semi-polymorphic? I don´t think it´s well defined what it means and it may depend of the analyzer.
