None 17 55%
Funny =)

I do not use any antivirus now. They really can't protect from crypted and 0-day threats.

HIPS are nice protection stuff, but Malware Defender doesn't work on x64 systems.

I think that even those who voted for any particular AV are not using them exactly for "protection", mostly for research/work. Well at least some of votes include mine.

Well AV's for me is like juggling act in a circus. Everynew version or update may change the way it behave with your current setup and you either must bring attention to vendor or if no relief, switch over to one of the top circle AV's that will return stable actions.

Last year 2011 i was in the Avira camp then near end Eset. This year (2012) i am solidly with KasperskyIS untill such time that an componant upgrade or version shift would prove to unbalance my system stable.

In combo with any AV is a routine safety approach i use success with tear off old Samurai driver that prevent driver install and embed it into my XP system alternate stream (ads) and attach to some folder anyone, then set it to manual/auto ;)

^^^like me........

i have been a long time without any AV, but hey i can get a simple widely knows virus by a USB dongle of my friend isn't? everybody this days can send you a darkcomet server as a present, who knows.

I have chose to install MSE just because it is so quiet, by all means (some will say that it is quiet even if it detect a virus... :mrgreen: ).
