This ransomware somehow remembers several authors works or some influence from it. Aside of UAC bypass (dll shellcode patch + moving target files to the separate self-made directory inside Windows) there is also old known VirtualProtect(ObjectAttributes, PAGE_GUARD) trick used in combination with NtOpenProcess call.
