I am graduated in software engineering, I am learning RE, and exploit development stuff for about 2 years, But I feel lost in this era...
It's not easy for me to reverse a program or malware.I can't find my own bugs and rebuild an exploit.... but I understand the articles, whitepapers and books ....
How to improve my abilities? How can I be professional in reverse engineering? How to find my way?

2 years with no any visible success? Probably it is not for you. Try something else then.

Actually there was a gap in these years for some reason, my learning was not continuous

Nothing to do with time gap, RE's don't forget inherent principles and nature of it. Brush up on the basics and see where you measure against those who are great otherwise Walmart hires Greeters *j/k*
