Dear fellow malware researchers. On behalf one of BotConf speaker & committee in following its material process, allow me to report that the event was outstanding & success. As per expected, BotConf was held in fully scientific-base, no marketing buff, with rich of interesting Disclosure (picture?), PoC and Demo of research methodology, ideas and approach, were presented by the speakers from all over the globes. More than 160 people gathered from many countries in this planet.

Below is the complete list of blogs (until today) that is reporting about the talks and/or the event, mostly from attendee and speakers, explaining the good event itself, if you read them all you will get the idea how malware and security researchers rocked Nantes, France on 4,5,6 Dec 2013 :-)

The video is still under editing process, I will update the information here.

Please support the BotConf 2014 which the CFP will be announced by the team officially in entering 2014, and I really don't want to see the drop of quality in research and hoping to challenge yourself with your concepts, methodology and approach in fighting, dissecting, mitigating, dismantling, or disrupting the botnets. I am happy this event has France as origin, now France has one more upon many things to be proud of, and indeed let it be the purest malware research event that we can expect on this planet.

Thank's for the BotConf staff, they are researchers who worked hard to make this event happen.
I saw many events in my life and BotConf team is so persistence and dedicated to make a success with good quality.
Shall Botconf always be the event by researchers and for researchers.
