Hi,

I'd like to run a specific version of windows 10 on my virtual machine. However, the scheduled updater forcefully install a new version every time I restart my machine.

is these an option to avoid this procedure ? perhaps via
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components
. Unfortunately I haven't found the appropriate configuration yet.

Any idea if it's possible ?

thanks

Install this Windows version with network disabled for VM.
Shutdown windows update service and block it from start. Reenable network if you need it later.

If this is Enterprise edition updates can be blocked with gpedit Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Internet Communication Management -> Internet Communication settings -> Turn off access to all Windows Update features.
