I had all Windows Internals editions since Helen Custer, except 2-nd edition that was written by Solomon. Actually get a first edition was really hard work, but after two year I trade it. It book contains a great info about developers, NT-philosophy and other very valuable comments.
Yep, for me, it was a great time and great memories about windows kernel research first :)
Guys, you can read my article about history of Windows NT at

RU http://citforum.ru/operating_systems/wi ... t_history/
EN http://translate.google.ru/translate?sl ... history%2F

Actually this is a compilation of various NT-history articles with chronology.

Normally you should never use any of them in your commercial product unless you are not OS creator. And in most cases there is no need.
